Gerson Equivel
Gerson is an international student from Mexico pursuing a PhD in Nuclear Engineering & Engineering Physics with the Evident group at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His work focuses on coupling simulation software to analyze the cascading consequences of nuclear weapon use. He earned his BS in Nuclear Engineering from UW–Madison, and in addition to his research, holds a Nuclear Research Reactor Operator license from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to operate the UW Nuclear Reactor.
